Thanks for the report John. Do you think it was due to not enough tourists on the island or locals simply being afraid of Coronavirus?
I Fuerteventura

Difficult to say Sam, but there were few tourists around, but at the time we were there,I doubt there were more than 50/60 people there, as I have said Tamara,s take on it would be interesting.

We got there just before 11am and I agree it was fairly quiet then but by the time we left around 12.30 it was humming! I'm shattered now after a long and busy day and off to bed shortly, I'll put up more detail tomorrow along with some pics.

My visit to Tetir on Sunday:
The biggest Ugly plant I've seen was pleased to see this bar had reopened.

This weekend's market has been cancelled because Fuerteventura is under the red traffic light warning system.

Visited the Tetir market on Sunday. Quiet when I arrived at 10.30am but busier by 11am. A few of the regular stalls were missing, such as the Gofio. No dog show, dancing or live music, commentary was provided by a Radio Station. A beautiful day for it. A selection of pics:
Bought an Australian Cherry Tree from this stall. Lovely people, very helpful. Their plants are in superb condition.

We were also there, arrived around 11:15, certainly busier than I have seen it for a long time, and considering the lack of tourists it can only be good news for the market itself, we looked at the cherry tree,s but I was outvoted but we have purchased plants from them before and they are always in excellent condition, about 10/11 months age we bought 2 cherry tomato plants of them, we had so many tomatoes we were giving them to anyone who wanted them.
To me drinking responsibly means do not spill it.
