The Tran Tran International Festival celebrates in 2020 its ten years spreading smiles
Ten years ago a group of neighbours from Tuineje launched an initiative that sought to do something different and novel. Ten years later, they have succeeded. The Tran Tran International Clown Festival celebrates this 2020 its first decade cultivating smiles.
The City Council of Tuineje has presented the poster at the International Tourism Fair Fitur 2020, which is held this week in Madrid. "Tran Tran is part of the magic of our municipality, because it has a lot of the way of being of the people of Tuineje and that is why it has managed to consolidate and be already, also, an appointment in Calendar of Events of tourist interest," Esther said Hernández, mayor of Tuineje.
The City Hall of Tourism, Yurena Vera, took advantage of the presentation in Fitur to underline the “importance that the family and active tourism segment has for Tuineje, especially since a large part of our hotel offer also focuses on that segment, therefore, festivals like Tran Tran, they are also another piece of that tourist product offered by the municipality ”.
Last year's edition brought more than 23,000 people to Gran Tarajal, highlighting the quality of the participating companies and artists, with more than 6 shows and performances by 36 companies and more than 150 artists in addition to the number of shows, new stages, shops involved, impact on media and communication, citizen involvement and impact at national and international level.
Tran Tran has two very differentiating aspects. It is a family festival where the clown and the clown are the protagonists and it is intended for a family audience, where both children and adults have activities and shows to enjoy and spend a different weekend.
The tenth edition of the Clown Festival will be held on September 4th, 5th and 6th, 2020 in Gran Tarajal.
