Rescued two minors, one of them with symptoms of drowning, in Caleta de Fuste.

The emergency services rescued on Tuesday afternoon two minors in Caleta de Fuste, in the municipality of Antigua, Fuerteventura, after 19:00 p.m. One of the minors, aged 12, showed signs of moderate drowning at the first moment of assistance.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing that there were two people in distress at sea. The 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The Local Police of the municipality reported that they had managed to remove the two minors, one of them unharmed. The other showed moderate signs of drowning and was transferred in an ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
In the operation deployed by the CECOES participated resources of the SUC, Local Police of Antigua, Civil Guard, Emergencies Fuerteventura and Maritime Rescue, reports a statement.
