Today I came across this little gem and realised we still don't have a 360 degree video thread. Some people call these films VR (Virtual Reality) movies, not sure what the right term actually is but I would expect VR to be 3D which is completely different animal. Anyway, here's the first one. About 12 minutes drive to Cofete Beach and I can finally enjoy the view, without the need to check the road all the time.

Thanks for posting Sam, I was feeling sick by about 1 minute in! It's just confirmed it's not a route I want to take .

I don't understand why. The video only shows the last part of the journey and the track is not as narrow as it appears on the film. I've have made the journey a couple of times without a problem. Only one road has had me worried so far, and that was tarmaced.

Don't look at the track, Tamara. Check the beautiful scenery all around. That's what 360 movies are all about.

That's weird, I actually like the freedom of 360 video because I can look wherever I want. Not just what the person behind the camera wants me to be looking at.
Could that be the device you're using? I'm watching on my PC and just tried on the phone and both work fine with my old eyes.

I have trouble going up more than 2 steps on a ladder. And as for glass walled lifts, you can forget it.
The scenery in the film was lovely but the drop at the side of the road stayed in my consciousness the whole time. I'm glad that others can do these films and share them so that I can enjoy the sights vicariously.

Wow, what a brilliant idea/invention. I do all the driving for Mrs Swordy and myself so never get a chance to enjoy the scenery. I'd love to see more movies like this.

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be kitesurfing at Sotavento?
