Minor in moderate condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest in Fuerteventura, as reported by 112 on Nuestra Señora del Carmen Avenue, municipality of La Oliva around 2:37 p.m. today Monday, July 24
Assessment of those affected provided by the SUC:
- A 4-year-old girl who, at the initial moment of care, is in moderate condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest, transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura Virgen de la Peña.
Services activated by CECOES 1-1-2:
- Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC): a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance
- Local Police
- Civil Guard
Remarks:
- At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert, from a water park, in which it was reported the existence of a minor in cardiorespiratory arrest.
- The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
- Upon arriving at the scene, the personnel of the basic life support ambulance of the SUC verified that the little girl had been resuscitated by two doctors who were in the area and proceeded immediately to transfer her to the aforementioned hospital center.
- A medicalized ambulance from the SUC went to meet her, whose personnel transferred the minor to this resource in the area of La Caldereta. Once stabilized, the affected was evacuated to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
- The Local Police and the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
