A Casino in the La Oliva Municipality
#1
The Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) has published the call for a public tender for the creation of a casino in the municipality of La Oliva.

Anyone interested has a month, starting from the day following the publication in the BOC, to present the required documentation.

In addition to the casino, the company will be able to provide the services of a bar, restaurant, concerts, exhibitions, swimming pool and sports facilities, as well as a hotel with a category of not less than four stars.

Currently, the island has a single casino located in the municipality of Antigua. The creation of a third casino in the south of the island is not ruled out.

In Caleta, nest to Atlantico and it's almost always empty. Not sure if that's a business model I would go with. On the other hand, having a Casino as a part of a luxury hotel is not that bad idea. Huh

Anywhere in the whole La Oliva municipality, not just in the town, methinks. It wouldn't make a financial sense at all. Would expect Corralejo being the only option.

Good evening!

It was mentioned that there’s one casino on the island. Is poker played there?
or maybe you know other places where you can play friendly poker?

Don't expect any Monte Carlo style, more like a few slot machines and a roulette. 🎰🎰🎰
