Having been here now for just under a year, I noticed a lack of "Delivery" options from local businesses. Even more so many don't have a website and rely on posting to Facebook.
As a local resident, is ordering online from local business for delivery something beneficial for you?
I am looking to offer a simple cheap service to all local businesses to have a basic site with ordering functionality. If this isn't something that you (the customers) would use or want, then I won't offer it as a specific solution and only on request from clients.

I absolutely loathe Facebook, so I will never conduct any transactions through it, and would vastly prefer businesses had their own websites. Any push to get businesses independent of Facebook is worth supporting, IMO.
Online orders would be nice for some things, but I don't know if it would be practical for a lot of them— do you mainly mean restaurants/takeaways, or what other kinds of businesses were you thinking of?

Well restaurants and takeaways are a big thing.
But also all the mom & pop shops that are scattered in random places all over the islands.
There are so many amazing little shops that I only came across by accident or by asking everyone I know where too buy X,Y & Z.
Just being able to search in google for a product, and seeing the website of a local business is a massive plus for me.
Lots of businesses are on Google Maps... but that only helps if you know the name of the business for the item you're looking for

That's an amazing idea. A directory would be really useful, too, for exactly the reason you mention!

That would be a dream
I did breifly consider making one central website where any canary shop can upload their products... but that could be something for the future.
