All municipal projects in execution or to be executed soon, include the channeling of Fiber Optics so that telephone companies respond to the numerous requests. "The improvement of connectivity with Fiber Optic allows us to present the towns of the Municipality as a welcoming and residential destination for online work projects," says the mayor, Matías Peña.
"The objective is to promote the installation of Fibre Optics in every corner of the Municipality", says the mayor, Matías Peña García, and in this sense, the City Council of Antigua "has done its homework, providing the telephone companies with the channelling network they need", and adds the municipal councillor, "it is now the turn of the companies to give an effective response to the demand they have for requests".
The City Council of Antigua includes in all municipal projects and actions, the pre-installation of Fiber Optics, as well as responds and facilitates to the installation companies of telephone companies, what they need for the installation in the towns or localities where they are working.
Within this framework of action, says the Councilor for New Technologies, Pedro M. Armas, we work in coordination with these Fiber Optic installation companies, so that they speed up their installation in those areas and towns with greater neighborhood demand.
The City Council of Antigua has prepared the pre-installation of Fiber Optics in all the works executed or in progress, facilitating the connection and waiting for action by the telephone companies.
The Municipality of Antigua and each of its towns and villages could be a chosen destination for residents whose job projection is developed with optimal online connectivity, says the councilor, for which the response of companies is necessary by making use and profit of the pipes prepared by the City of Antigua.
