This weekend sees the Arena Negra festival in Gran Tarajal This free event is expected to attract 20,000 people. The Arena Negra Festival will mark a new milestone in the macroevents held in Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, since the light and sound technology put on stage is not only state-of-the-art, but also the first time it has been used in combination in the archipelago. "We are lucky to have a company that has the best acoustic system, the K2, in the Canary Islands; in addition, there will be 120 state-of-the-art mobile lighting machines," said Festival Director Raúl Rivero. Added to this are the more than 60 square meters of high-definition LED screen, divided into three screens, "which will allow anyone who is anywhere on the beach to fully enjoy the Festival."
Although the concerts start at 8.00pm both nights, there will be lots of daytime attractions for visitors.
