Maxorata goat cheese wins the award, convened for the first time by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food



Maxorata cheese, with Denomination of Origin, is the only product from the Canary Islands that has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food with the Food of Spain Award for the Best Spirit, the Best Cheeses and the Best Wines. It thus becomes the best cheese in Spain in the "matured goat cheese" modality.



The process to determine the winners of the Best Cheese Food of Spain Award was carried out at the Agrifood Arbitration Laboratory of Santander."
