This afternoon there was an accident between a bus and 3 vehicles on the FV 2 southbound highway at the Giniginamar junction with 27 people affected, including the occupants of the bus and the occupants of the vehicles that have been the worst off.
In a first assessment, the emergency services explain that there are 2 very serious people and 7 minor ones. The worst off have been the occupants of three vehicles that ended up colliding head-on with a bus.
According to Article 112, the report would be:
Assessment of those affected provided by the SUC:
Male (van driver) who at the initial moment of assistance presented with serious cranioencephalic trauma, in the upper and lower extremities, transferred by medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura. A man (bus driver) who at the initial moment of care presented serious trauma to the thorax and lower extremities, transferred by medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura. A 42-year-old woman (driver of the car) who at the initial moment of assistance presented with moderate polycontusions, except for complications, was transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Gran Tarajal Health Center. A 67-year-old man presented with moderate hip contusion at the time of initial care, except for complications, and was transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Gran Tarajal Health Center. A man who presented with mild neck pain at the time of initial care was transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Gran Tarajal Health Center.
