In recent years, the Barceló Hotel Group has committed itself to consolidating its offer within the luxury segment, especially with the launch of the Royal Hideaway Hotels brand and the repositioning of the Barceló Hotels brand.
Therefore, it is not surprising that more and more chain hotels are rewarded with awards such as the “Luxury Hotel Awards”, which recognise the most exclusive establishments in the world.
The Royal Hideaway Corales Resort, a spectacular five star New Luxury Hotel in Costa Adeje (Tenerife), has been awarded the “Best New Luxury Hotel in Europe 2018”. In just ten months from its opening, this hotel has already received several international awards: Best New Hotel Europa 2018 at the European Hospitality Awards, Best Luxury Hotel in Spain at the 2018 World Travel Awards and Best Beach Hotel in Spain by the Roca Awards for the Hotel Initiative 2018.
The Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri (Chiclana, Cádiz) also has numerous awards, especially for its spectacular 3.600m2 wellness centre, the largest in Andalusia. It is the third consecutive year that it receives the prize for “Europe’s best luxury spa resort 2018”.
The Barceló Teguise Beach (Lanzarote) has received the Best Hotel Award in the category of “2018 Europe Luxury Coast Resort”. This is not the first time that this hotel receives this recognition since last year it was chosen “Best luxury resort of Spain and southern coast of Europe” and “Best luxury resort with spa and thalassotherapy in Spain.”
The awards ceremony was held in a gala in Bali (Indonesia).
The Barceló Hotel Group, the hotel division of Grupo Barceló, is the third largest in Spain and the 29th largest in the world. It currently has 249 urban and holiday hotels of 4 and 5 stars, and more than 54,000 rooms, distributed in 22 countries and marketed under four brands: Royal Hideaway Luxury Hotels & Resorts, Barceló Hotels & Resorts, Occidental Hotels & Resorts and Allegro Hotels.
