Bather in critical condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest in Fuerteventura
This is the second serious incident of the day on the coast of Majorera and a few kilometers from each other.

At 11.37 this morning there was a new incident on the beaches of Jandía, when a man of unknown age who, after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest, was transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura Virgen de la Peña in critical condition.
At the time indicated above, in the area of the beach of Piedras Caídos, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing that they had rescued from the sea a man who was in cardiorespiratory arrest.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Once on land, the lifeguards of the beach found that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest so they provided the first assistance by performing basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers.
The GES helicopter, which was close to the area having participated in the resolution of another incident, went to the aforementioned beach. Once there, his rescuers continued with the resuscitation maneuvers of the affected person managing to recover him.
The patient was evacuated in the aircraft to the Morro Jable helisurface where a medicalized ambulance of the SUC was waiting for him, whose personnel continued with the assistance and, after stabilizing him, proceeded to transfer him to the hospital.
Pájara Firefighters and Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
