Juan Jiménez highlighted the enclave of the biblioplaya in full maritime avenue, a space recovered by the citizens who live an extraordinary environment during these months of summer.
For its part, the Councillor of the area, Ore Vera, valued this new edition of the Biblioplaya as a positive experience in the years that have been unfolding in the epicentre of the capital's summer, with a broad proposal of contents and activities.
Sonia Álamo, Councillor of Beaches in the Porto City Council, presented the campaign to revitalize the 3 capital beaches during the summer, where water inflatables and environmental workshops will take place. It is the intention of this Council to activate some more dynamic proposal on the beach of Los Pozos, where a representative proposal of terraces and citizen transit is concentrated.
Workshops on reading, painting, creativity, comics, games, storytelling, sports and leisure activities make up this varied offer, which includes the free reading of volumes, the book lending service or the possibility of reading the daily press. The Biblioplaya will be open until next September 6.
