Blood extraction at the hospital
#1
Hi
I'm taking a friend to the hospital on Monday for several appointments. The first one is for a Blood extraction. Does anyone know what part of the hospital this is done in? I've only ever had them done at a Centro Salud before and can't remember seeing 'bloods' at the hospital.
We'll be in a bit of a rush to get to the 2nd appointment so I don't want to waste time hunting around if possible.
Thanks.

Enter hospital by main entrance. Swipe health card into the machine (or enter NIE Number) to get your ticket with your number, typically D6H or similar, go to the right, towards the Chapel or the cafe, seats to your left. Watch screens for your number to come up.

Thanks Tom. Never noticed it around there, probably because I'm usually later in the day and 'bloods' all packed up! To me though that is to the 'left' Wink
Another little concern is that she has no paperwork for the blood test, she just received a telephone call, so fingers crossed!

Apologies Tamara, it's to the left after the machine. You may have noticed row after row of empty seats as bloods are usually done early morning (you have to fast before the test, hence cafe handy afterwards), and the sears are empty most of the day.

Tom.

If I am not mistaken the ticket will tell you what floor to be on.

Yes thanks, it's just that the paperwork tells them what tubes/tests to do 🤷
