The Cabildo of Fuerteventura through the Ministry of Tourism informs that, from this Thursday, July 21 and until next August 20, residents in the Canary Islands over 18 years of age can request the tourist voucher 'Bonoventura' that will allow you to enjoy the restoration and tourist leisure of Fuerteventura through the website www.bonofuerteventura.es . An initiative of the Ministry of Tourism that consists of obtaining a prepaid card to spend in catering establishments, tourist leisure and experiences adhered to the program where the citizen who meets the requirements and is a beneficiary of it, chooses to pay between 100 euros or 200 euros, and the Cabildo contributes the same amount, in such a way that the 'Bonoventura' card will have a maximum amount to spend of between 200 or 400 euros.
A voucher that can be enjoyed between September 1 and November 30 in the restaurants and tourist leisure companies adhered to the program that already appear on the web for consultation of citizens interested in this bonus.
The Minister of Tourism, Jessica de León, encourages all citizens to enjoy the island of Fuerteventura, "all the experiences it offers as well as our quality gastronomy, with local products and the multiple activities offered by SMEs on the island of Fuerteventura dedicated to the nautical sector, hiking and leisure for all members of the family", Designates.
The objective of 'Bonoventura' is to achieve a direct economic impact on the island of Fuerteventura of 1,600,000 euros thanks to the investment of 800,000 euros by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and an indirect impact that is around 5 million euros since the average stay on the island of Fuerteventura and the number of members of the family unit prevail.
"This action is contemplated in the Strategic Tourism Plan 22/26 that pursued among its medium-term objectives the loyalty of the Canarian tourist with incentive policies such as those we are applying. The Strategic Plan is being fulfilled and, although it is designed for 4 years, we will arrive at the end of the year with 30% of the plan being executed", recalls the Minister of Tourism.
