A 5-year-old boy rescued from serious drowning in the pool of a hotel in Morro Jable.
The child was rushed by helicopter to the Maternal and Child University Hospital of Gran Canaria
At 18.01 pm on Thursday, a five-year-old boy was rescued with signs of drowning in the pool of a hotel in Fuerteventura.
The minor who, at the initial moment of assistance, presents symptoms of drowning of a serious nature, transferred by medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Morrojable helisurface and from there by medicalized helicopter to the Maternal and Child University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was communicated that they had taken from the pool of a hotel a minor who had fallen and showed signs of drowning.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The SUC ambulance team attended to the child and provided him with the initial medical assistance and, once stabilized, he was transferred to the helisurface where the medicalized helicopter was waiting to transfer him to the hospital in Gran Canaria, where he was admitted in serious condition.
Police officers prepared the corresponding reports.
