Can anyone please advise the logic of moving the guagua stop in downtown Cotillo.
There is now actually a notice at the old one saying it is out of service, but the bus goes straight through it !
Weird.

It's a similar story to the rear of the El Carmen apartments.
There is a new bus terminus 100m away, yet the buses still park up opposite El Carmen and leave their engines running for hours on end, just like they used to do before the bus terminus was built.
Old habits die hard with bus drivers I guess

Is the Guagua stop the one on the patch of land that used to be scrappy but they smartened it up and put a boat on it? If so, doesn't the bus stop there now at all?

"We have just spoken to the receptionist at the Cotillo Beach Hotel who attended the meeting on Monday. She told us that the meeting was about the bus drivers not stopping at the bus stop next to the hotel. The drivers claim that there is not enough time to include that stop on their route, and also that there are often parked cars that make it difficult to get around. She also said that she left before the end of the meeting, as in her opinion, there was no point in staying, as the drivers had already made the decision not to include the hotel stop. She didn't understand why the drivers decide where to stop and not follow the route that they are paid to drive. She said it would be like her locking the doors to the hotel, if she was too busy doing other things."

The Cotillo Beach Hotel organised a petition which was available to sign at the hotel reception desk (passport number or NIE required). Not sure if it's still there, but worth checking out.
