Mayor and Captaincy value the location and spaciousness of the plot for Cuartel in Caleta de Fuste
The mayor, Matías Peña has informed the Captain in Fuerteventura, Pedro Peinado, of the development of the file for the transfer of municipal land in Caleta de Fuste for the possible installation of the Civil Guard Barracks in Caleta de Fuste.
The informative and coordination meeting held this Tuesday, October 8 early in the morning, has aimed to inform of the point at which the drafting of the file for the transfer of a plot in Caleta de Fuste for the construction of a barracks in this town is located, says the mayor, Matías Peña.
In order to obtain the viability of this project, the land transfer file attaches the characteristics and compliance in the services and connections available, accessibility, central location and with more than 5,000 square meters of surface, sufficient for the construction of the Barracks, access roads or parking area.
The City Council of Antigua is working to facilitate and speed up this project, putting everything on our part in this objective, concludes the municipal councilor, it will be the decision of the competent State administration, to make the final decision, according to the criteria to be prioritized.
