Christmas Coffee Morning Event
#1
CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING.

Once again, Sue and Ray Thornber will be opening their home for a Christmas Coffee
Morning in aid of St. James’ Church and Fuerteventura Against Cancer. Sue said “Ray and I
open our home for a Christmas Coffee Morning each year on the 12th of December as it
makes Mum’s birthday a happy occasion and raises Money for two charities that were close
to her heart.”

Sue’s mum, Elsie Sowerbutts, was a Church Warden at St. James Church in Corralejo for
many years.

The Coffee Morning is being held at Calle Cardon 36, Tamaragua on Thursday 12th of
December. Admission is €5 which includes coffee, mince pies and nibbles. There will be a
Tombola with lots of fabulous prizes as well as the sale of lots of Christmas items.

Proceeds will be shared between St. James’ Church and Fuerteventura Against Cancer.

If anyone wants further information, it is available on the website at www.fuertechurch.org

Fuertechurch (the church of St. James’ in Corralejo and El Cotillo) is an English Speaking

Just a quick update on this event.

There were a huge number attending including members of this forum. As I'm currently back in the UK, so I can't identify any individuals, but it has been reported to me that the Click Forum was mentioned several times when the hosts asked.

Money still has to be collected, but it's going to be 1,000 Euros, perhaps a little over. This will be shared between Fuerteventura Against Cancer and St. James' Church.

A big thank you to all who attended, purchased gifts or donated Money and\or gifts.

Tom.
