For all those members who live on a Community...
Who are your Administrators? How do you rate them, any good or bad?
Just doing some research, feel free to PM me if you'd rather not publish on here.

We have Mr ''El Presidente'' who is the head of our community and deals with all the issues and a company called Fimax (C/ Fuerteventura 7 35600 Puerto del Rosario) as the administrator. Very happy with both.
I need a six month vacation twice a year

We also use José Mariscal on our Community. I rate him very highly. We have a Community with a lot of complications.

When we lived in Corralejo we had Thomas Hardtman as the Administrator. Seemed very organised with the regular stuff but not a lot of help when we had some problems although some of this was probably lack of presence of the community president.

It has been 4 years since this subject was discussed, so I'm asking afresh for views and comments on Community Administrators.
We are a small Community, just 16 two bedroom properties. We suffered a large firm in the capital for many years, they did very little but complain. Didn't do much to chase up payment of fees, but took their own fee first and left everything else unpaid, meaning we lost electricity and water to the common areas of the Community!
A former president changed to a solicitor in Puerto. He does what he needs to do, but nothing further and charges €167 a month, which works out at €125 per property per year!
As new president, I'm looking to reduce costs so any recommendations for an Administrator please, preferably in the North and preferably that speaks some English.
Reply off line if you prefer.

Ours is only a small community of 20 properties.
The new president (last year) proposed removing the company we were using who were charging roughly 1500€ per year and managing it herself. The residents all voted in favour and so far all is good with it.
Not sure how helpful that is but I thought I'd share it.
Working on it, two steps closer
