Around 12 noon the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call in which it was communicated that a vehicle was sealed in an area of cliffs in Tinajo.
Rescuers from the GES helicopter accessed the area and, with the collaboration of the different emergency resources displaced to the place, hoisted the aircraft to the other occupant of the vehicle, a woman, and evacuated her to a nearby place where the ambulances of the Canary Islands Emergency Service were located.
The SUC staff evaluated and assisted the affected woman who, after being stabilized, was transferred in serious condition by medicalized ambulance to the aforementioned hospital.
Civil Guard guards the body of the deceased until the arrival of the judicial authority and makes the corresponding attestation.
