Four people have been moderately injured after the collision between two vehicles in Fuerteventura.
The incident took place, on the FV-2 road, at the height of the municipality of Antigua.
Two women and two men who, at the initial time of care, had moderate neck pain, were transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Virgen de la Peña General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
At 9:05 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting a front-lateral collision between two vehicles on the aforementioned road.
The 112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, it is the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) which came with a basic life support ambulance, Fuerteventura Emergencies, Local Police, and Civil Guard
The SUC staff attended to four people, two men and two women, with moderate injuries and various pathologies who were transferred to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura Virgen de la Peña.
Fuerteventura Emergency personnel collaborated with the displaced resources.
The Civil Guard instructed the report and regulated vehicle traffic in the area.
