Radio Sintonia:

Fuerteventura will receive more than 50,000 euros for the supply of pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and electrodes.

The Governing Council authorized, this Monday, the Ministry of Health to allocate 2,048,311.56 euros to the contracting of a supply of pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and electrodes for the hospitals of the Canary Islands Health Service. Of this budget, 51,147.74 euros will go to the Fuerteventura Health Services Management.



For the acquisition of this supply, the validity of the framework agreement signed on December 30, 2021 by the General Directorate of Economic Resources of the SCS for the supply of pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, electrodes and implantable holters will be extended for the period between January 10, 2024 and September 5, 2025.

The budget item allocated to this procurement file will cover the needs of the SCS hospitals that implement these cardiac electronic devices, with the following distribution for the extension period: 1,275,576.72 euros corresponding to the University Hospital of Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín, 469,395.72 euros from the Insular Maternal and Child University Hospital Complex, 130,690.52 euros from the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital, €19,326.92 from the Canary Islands University Hospital Complex, €102,173.94 from the Health Services Management of La Palma and €51,147.74 from the Fuerteventura Health Services Management.
