Happy Plants - Tefia

A word of warning for anyone thinking about buying plants for their garden - buy soon - HP are seriously considering closing down in March 2022 if they have not found a buyer for the business.
I'll be lost - a visit there is like visiting a botanical garden in the UK. I'm so glad that I have virtually finished planting my garden and pray that I don't lose any of the HP 'specials' that I have  Fingers Crossed

(I'm going to copy this into the 'Where to buy' forum as well.)

I had heard that as well Tamara, and that they will be having different sales over the next few months so we need to keep an eye out for what is on offer and when.

We were at Happy Plants on Wednesday no sign of the business closing or things on offer to reduce stock quickly.  I took the liberty of asking Saskia what was happening and the impression she gave me was that they need to sell the stock before they shut down or sell the business to someone in their early 40's who has the energy to keep the business going for a few more years.

before Saskia and Paul left they estimated it would be in the autumn. Apparently the new owners have the HP Facebook page and will announce on there. I don't do FB so if someone else would like to look?

I've found them on Facebook and I'm now 'following', so as soon as an announcement is made, I will re-post it here.

Movement with Happy Plants. The former owners are closing the current Facebook page, so the new owners can set up a new Facebook page. I suspect it will happen quite quickly, say a week.

They should have just transferred admin rights - faster and keeps past customers the same page.
