Hi folks
#1
Just a quick hello, another refugee from “the dark side”. We’re currently languishing at El Caleton until tomorrow, then back to Blighty. Already booked for next year including J2 flights.
Re.the dark side. I don’t mind a bit of banter, it keeps thing interesting, but there’s no need for unpleasantness & blatant trolling just to get a reaction. It actually gets tedious after a while. So good effort Sam, well done & good luck. Got to go now, it’s G&T time, then down to Olivo Corso (sp?) for dinner.

Just back from Olivo Corso, probably the best meal this week. We ate at the “new” Marea Alta on Monday, interesting menu & they are trying. The goat empanada was the star & the cheapest item at 3,50 euro. The confit tomato salad & avocado salad were also good. The patatas bravas we’re a disappointment, basically a plate of chips with mojo sauce; avoid. Our second meal out was at the ever popular Vaca Azul, it was rammed when we arrived & we had to come back an hour later for a table. The octopus & fish soup were  good, the fresh grilled fish was so so. Not the best meal we’ve had here.
