The General Hospital of Fuerteventura implements a new telephone service for appointments

The Management of Health Services of the Health Area of Fuerteventura, under the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, has launched an automated telephone service that allows users to contact, in an agile and simple way, with qualified personnel to inquire about any procedure related to hospital appointments.
This service allows, among other functions, to cancel or change appointments in the specialties that are possible and inform the patient about the status of the waiting list of the query, as well as the complementary tests.
On the other hand, this system is also a significant improvement for Admission service professionals who can make a more agile and direct attention to users who come to the Hospital, because with this system will not answer calls from abroad when they are processed. through this new service.
The telephone service hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and, outside these hours, patients who call may leave messages that will be attended by service professionals on the next business day.

In these months of operation, since its launch last February, through this service has served an average of 110 daily phone calls with a level of resolution greater than 90%, so that users have welcomed this measure in a positive way.
