some hydrocarbon beaches piche remains

Hydrocarbon remains (Piche) on some beaches
#1
Noticias:

The "piche" returns to the majoreras coasts.

The Majorero coast, at least the north coast, is suffering these days from the appearance of hydrocarbon remains, which is colloquially called "piche", an issue that is bothering tourists as the video we show them of the great beaches.

"Walking today along the great beaches of the riu in corralejo.. it's oil...??? What kind of pollution is... it remains on the skin and it is very difficult to remove ...!!", says a user looking for information about what happens on the beach.

The origin of these spills is usually in the offshore cleaning of the tanks of oil tankers, an issue that some heartless people continue to do near the Canary coasts. Everything indicates that this is a similar case with dumping into the sea that finally reaches our beaches.

"It seems incredible that today these irresponsibilities continue to occur, since they affect us from the environmental point of view, with terrible damage to our coasts," say residents of the town of Corralejo, "which are entrusted to the authorities for the cleaning of the beaches, which in this way bother tourists and neighbors a lot."
