Iberia Express, the low-cost Iberia company, announced on Thursday that it will reinforce its connection between Madrid and Fuerteventura with two more weekly flights during the next winter season, which begins on October 27.
As the airline has detailed in a statement, these two new frequencies add to the two that were added in the last winter season and complete a total of 11 weekly routes between the island and Madrid, which include four overnight stays at the Majorero airport, that allow you to connect with the capital first thing in the morning.
These two flights will be Tuesdays and Sundays from Madrid at 20:15 and with return from Fuerteventura on Wednesdays and Mondays at 07:00.
With this initiative, the airline aims not only to favour the connectivity of the island with the capital, but also with the rest of the destinations of the Iberia group network and allows customers to link with about 30 destinations in the US, Latin America and Asia .
For the commercial director of the airline, Trevor Martin, these two new flights show "Iberia Express's commitment to the island, which will undoubtedly have a very positive effect on connectivity, both for residents and tourists."
