I asked for a refund for a flight on 2nd May. Not heard anything yet so think you might have a long wait. Think its just a way for them to kick things into the long grass. Keeps people from contacting them constantly. Also they need our cash to keep the company going, they will not be bothered about your refund if they go bust be someone else's problem.

I had a call on Friday for ours which was May 6th.
They are refunding it as booked another date in
June following the Jet2 email that they were resuming flights from
June 17th.
I expect this will also get refunded when the time comes.

Our flight was on the 26th of March, we had a email from Jet 2 saying you will receive a refund within 28 days, still waiting!

A bit confused about your reply.
You got a call but did they actually put the
Money back into the bank or onto the card where you paid it from?
If you got the actually cash back into some sort of account then that is good news as it will be the first time I have heard of some one getting the cash back from one of the LOCO carriers since the COVID19 crisis.

Yes I got a call, we discussed the options including rearranging the holiday but I'd already booked another date with them so we agreed that they would refund the payment back to my card and it would take 3 to 5 days possibly longer due to the workload.
The refund's not arrived as yet but I'll keep you posted.

That's impressive Pete, and how it should work. Hopefully we'll see you back on the island before too long.

Well we have 3 more trips booked this year so will see. Hopefully so but if not we can wait.
The biggest upset is we're due to complete on a house purchase tomorrow. Not sure if it will or not, the lawyer has POA but even if it does we can't get.

Well done Pete. Further illustration if it were needed that
Ryanair really is the pits, not just “the likes of
Ryanair” as certain people wish to imply.
Never again. Will pay a few quid more in future for the peace of mind.
