The 34th edition of the Rallye de La Oliva is suspended.

The organisers give up "due to the innumerable obstacles" to the celebration of the benchmark event of motorsport on land in the Canary Islands

Scuderia Maxo Sport announces the definitive suspension of the 34th edition of the Rallye de La Oliva. The organisers of the event explain that "after countless negotiations with the federative institutions and public institutions, with numerous coincidences with the test calendars and the usual and endless portfolio of documents of all kinds, we are forced to communicate that, definitively, we renounce the organisation of the event despite the intense and incessant efforts made".

Maxo Sport explains that it is a "sad epilogue and destination for the reference land race in the Canary Islands for more than three long decades" and recalls "the memory of countless teams from all the islands that have accompanied us in the most prestigious gravel event".

Maxo Sport also takes advantage of the statement to "apologize to the entire Canarian motor family in general and to the majorera in particular, confirming that, on the part of Maxo Sport and both federations, they have worked unspeakably to achieve the objectives, overcoming countless obstacles, but when everything goes against them, you have to accept reality".
