I stayed there for one month 16 years ago, before I bought my house.
There are a mix of 1 and 2 bedroomed apartments. It was OK then, but I don't know what it's like now. Looking through the security gate it does look well-maintained.
The estate agents should be able to tell you about the community fees.

I guess you're planning to buy an apartment in Las Arenas. The location is great - at the quiet side of Caleta but still only 10 minutes stroll to the main beach. As Captain said, the estate agent (or the owner if you're going private) will be more than happy to answer. Yes, one and two bedroom apartments in the complex, the two beds apartments are on the first floor with one room on the ground floor (?? - not sure if I got this one right though). Personally never heard anything bad about the complex and I'm sure that bad news travel much faster (not just) in Caleta.
If you've any questions re buying, don't hesitate to ask. There's many of us who went through it and can point you the right direction.
