Several months after the licence application was submitted, work has started on the site. It's next to the Mercadona supermarket.
Green fencing has been put around the site and there's portacabins there. I presume it's for Lidl. I drove past on the main road today and couldn't see if there were signs up.

There was nothing to indicate who is developing it at least there wasn't on Saturday.
To me drinking responsibly means do not spill it.

A sign is now up saying that 'we are building your new Lidl'.
It'll be interesting to see how long it will take to build it.
Traffic and parking will be a big problem when it opens.

We work for Lidl in the U.K. if they follow the standard format then it should be 6 to 9 months to opening 🙂🙂

Surely they will try to get them both open before Christmas?

I looked through the fence this morning. It looks as if the footings for the store are being put in at the back of the site (east side). No footings at the front of the site(west side) might suggest that will be the car park.
