Monkeypox in Fuerteventura
#1
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has ruled out the suspected case of monkeypox that was under follow-up in Fuerteventura.
Health reported last Monday that a British tourist was suspected of suffering from monkeypox, but this Friday has ruled it out, as well as two other patients in Gran Canaria.
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands registered this Friday two negative cases and reported four in study for possible diagnosis of monkeypox.
This means that there are in total since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert a total of six confirmed cases in the Canary Islands, three in Gran Canaria and three in Tenerife.
