I've been recently told in this thread about the Miguel de Unamuno House - Museum that mountain Tindaya is a NO NO for alone hikers and you would have to go in a group with an official guide.
Mta Tindaya isn't the most impressive mountain in Fuerteventura but is very high on my personal list. There's many places we've been hiking on the island but the most impressive would be the Pico de la Zarza. Not just because it's the highest point of the island but the view from the mountain is really impressive and you can also see one of the best beaches in Fuerteventura, Playa de Cofete.
So yes, right now Pico de la Zarza is my favourite mountain. I'm still looking for a better hike in Fuerteventura (is there any?), preferably mountain that is allowed to hike.
Do you have any suggestions? Have you done the hike on your own? Just remember: "Pics or it didn't happen!
