A new petrol station is being constructed to the side of FV1 as it heads into town, between what I refer to as Morro Francisco roundabout and Las Honduras roundabout.
It's been needed for some time as the one in the main street is so busy the vehicles in the queue often block the main street. As for the Shell garage down the bottom of the town that is now surrounded by pedestrianised areas...…..

No, just managed to make out the basics on a small wooden sign as I drove past. I thought at first it was going to be an ITV station then I realised that was the left over signage for the newish ITV in Puerto!
I also read 'taller' and 'pneumaticos' and 'cafeteria' so it sounds like the package to be found in La Oliva at present! Possibly
DISA?

Much needed, agree the one in town has always been a nightmare, never seen any cars at the one at the bottom of town..

The new petrol station is progressing. I could see the fuel tanks were in and the shell of the buildings has been completed. Took pic from up at Morro Franciso so it's 'rear view'.

This has been slow going! Today it looked as if progress is being made; an exterior stone wall was being constructed and trees were being planted. The buildings still look as though they need work done though.

progress as of today. Still no signage visible.

The fuel pumps are in but covered up. When the wind fluttered the covers as I was driving past I think saw a BP logo. Yellow and green flower?

If it is BP then as long as the prices are the same as in PDR, last time I bought fuel there, the north of the island is in for some very reasonably priced fuel
