The largest shopping center in Lanzarote will open in autumn after an investment of 21 million euros.
It will have the most cutting-edge brands including the well-known PRIMARK.
The mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, visited this Friday the works of the future great Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center that will open its doors to the public this coming autumn, after an investment of 21 million euros and after the Consistory of the capital granted a license for its construction in September 2019.
The mayor was received by Miguel Morales, owner of the construction company Hormiconsa and responsible for the Real Estate Developer Parque Islas Canarias that manages the aforementioned shopping center, who detailed the work carried out in the more than 32,000 square meters of useful exhibition and sale area available in the building located at number 156 of León y Castillo street, which will have 92 commercial premises, nine warehouses, two kiosks and 952 underground parking spaces.
Astrid Pérez stressed in her visit, in which she was also accompanied by the technical team in charge of the construction of the shopping center, "the revulsion that the opening of the Lanzarote Open Mall means for the city, as it will mean a substantial improvement in terms of the commercial offer of Arrecife" and congratulated its promoters "for carrying out this initiative that will serve as an economic incentive for the city and will create numerous jobs".
