Nogiland Fuerteventura - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Hundreds of fans and competitors of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) of all ages and backgrounds will meet in Corralejo next Saturday, November 2nd to participate in Nogiland Fuerteventura 2019, event that celebrates its third edition in the José Perdomo Umpiérrez Municipal Pavilion.

The Department of Sports of the City of La Oliva collaborates with Nogiland in the organization of this sporting event thanks to which wrestlers from all over the national geography will arrive in the municipality, sharing the common objective of practising and enjoying this style of fighting and personal defence It is based on the use of technique over strength.

The Councillor for Sports, Gleiber Carreño, invited the public "to enjoy this event that offers a great show, which promotes sportsmanship and companionship, and is a magnificent showcase to publicize the work carried out by the clubs of the municipality in around the various mixed martial arts, and especially in the formation of girls and boys in the quarry. "

Nogiland Fuerteventura is a sporting event that falls within the national circuit that, with this same nomenclature, is celebrated throughout the year in different parts of Spain, offering clubs, associations, teams and particular competitors the possibility of meeting and practising their favourite sport, creating community around the BJJ, and being pioneers in the promotion of children's competitions.

Mixed martial arts continue to grow and attract adherents in all its modalities, especially around one of its disciplines with greater acceptance, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and the celebration of 'Nogiland Fuerteventura' is a true reflection of this reality.

The two modalities of BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) that can be enjoyed in Nogiland Fuerteventura with the competition of "Gi", with kimono and a speciality of soil, and the modality "No Gi", without kimono, more focused on grappling and submission.

Nogiland and La Oliva City Council transferred their thanks to sponsoring and collaborating entities such as the Bristol Sunset Beach resort, Endorfina Club, Destiny Group, Noi Thai Sports Club, Sushi E, Secret Energy, Fuerteventura Innovations, DN7 or Single Fin, and restaurants Hook and Texas.
