Newport Group creates the first port lounge in Spain in the Port of La Luz.
The Port Authority of Las Palmas publishes in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas the application for a demanial concession of Crew Pass Day & Coworking to which it attaches the basic project called "Basic project of building reform for tertiary use – Services: Crew Center Las Palmas", to occupy an area of public port domain of 950.50 m2, with facilities included, located in Functional Area 6 of the service area of the Port of Las Palmas, for the installation of a "VIP Room for passengers and crews".
The Port of Las Palmas will host in the vicinity of the headquarters of the Port Authority of a pioneering project in Spain, a 'crew center', a crew center and business center similar to the lounges found in airports, in which both passengers and crew, or any other person who requires their services, you can spend the connection time between one trip and another, in a productive and relaxed way. Among the services offered by this modern and pioneering facility is a modern supermarket, a gastro market, cafeteria and restaurant services and a complete gym with changing room areas.
This innovative initiative, which will be launched by the Canarian company Crew Pass Day & Co-working, with Canarian capital in its entirety, led by the majorero entrepreneur José Antonio Newport and Francisco González, will offer, in 1,600 square meters, a co-working area with multimedia rooms equipped with the latest technology and different services offered for the rest of the crews and passengers who stop at the port and connectivity service with the airport.

This room, which will be released soon, will have capacity for two hundred and fifty people and can be accessed through different channels: with a loyalty card granted by a consignee or other entity with which the room has an agreement, or freely, if you want to make a punctual use for any reason, prior payment of the services to be used.
This innovative initiative, which will be launched by the Canarian company Crew Pass Day & Co-working, with Canarian capital in its entirety, led by the majorero entrepreneur José Antonio Newport and Francisco González, will offer, in 1,600 square meters, a co-working area with multimedia rooms equipped with the latest technology and different services offered for the rest of the crews and passengers who stop at the port and connectivity service with the airport.
