Reynaldo's in The Dunes
#1
Not sure where to put this tread lets start here in General.

I was at the Dunes yesterday and was asked where to get something to eat, so I went to point out Reynaldo's to find it had disappeared, buildings, flags, everything.  It was there 4 /5  weeks ago when I was last up there.

Any one any information? It is still on Google maps

The road being closed may have been the nail in the coffin. Hopefully it will reappear.

More than a holiday all the buildings have gone!! unless I have gone blind or they have an invisible shield over it  Big Grin Big Grin

Surely wasn’t all to do with the road closure then if it was still there until a few weeks ago. Unless they had decided that with the majority of the traffic taking the new road they were going to lose out anyway !!

I think it was the Spanish Costa's Dept who ordered that it be taken off the beach from what I can remember.

Seem to remember reading somewhere that the owner, Reynaldo?? had passed away so maybe that's the reason it's no more

I believe Reynaldo died in late 2016 the bar was closed until May 2017 and reopened under new management.
