The mayor of Pájara, Pedro Armas, together with the first deputy mayor, Alexis Alonso, visited during this morning the infrastructures of the Stella Canaris to observe first-hand the beginnings of the works that, after years closed, can be carried out, informs the City Council of Pájara.
To do this, the heads of the City Council met in the hotel complex with the CEO of Meeting Point Spain, Ángel Rivero, and the architect in charge of the work, Hermenegildo Dominguez.
In this regard, the southern councilor explains that this work is of great importance for Pájara and for Fuerteventura since "it supposes generation of employment and an improvement in the offer and tourist quality"..
"We are pleased that the works on the Stella Canaris finally begin after the work done to unlock the licenses and financing after the break made due to the pandemic," says Pedro Armas.
For his part, the first deputy mayor, Alexis Alonso, stresses that "this work is one of the most important that exist in the Canary Islands, since the rehabilitation of the Stella Canaris is integrated by projects to condition four 4-star hotels, and one 5-star hotel".
The City Council of Pájara has its Local Employment Office at the disposal of citizens interested in working on the rehabilitation of this infrastructure, helping to promote the growth of employment in the municipality and contributing to the completion of the works as soon as possible and in the best conditions.
