The majorero karatekas wear their medals won in the Tenerife Championship.
Last Sunday, March 05, 2023, the XIX Tenerife Karate Championship took place at the Miguel Ángel Díaz Molina Pavilion in Puerto de la Cruz, where many of the best karatekas of the Canary Islands met.
The participants of the Hirahi Group with the Nago sports club attended this event getting back to Fuerteventura with a medal hanging around their necks. Damián Aisa Páez wins the gold medal and returns to the island as senior kumite champion, Oriol Iglesias Suarez was proclaimed runner-up in youth kumite, Lua Pastor Perez returns as third classified in cadet kumite, Kacper Marek Kucyk got third place in cadet kumite and Javier Hernández Guedes, third in junior kumite. For his part, Mattia Pedroni did not get a medal in the championship, but the recognition of his good work by the Hirahi Group.
