The biggest Bethlehem in the Canary Islands opens its doors this afternoon
From this Tuesday, December 10 and until the night of Kings the Giant Bethlehem will be open to the public between 10:00 and 22:00.
A Calendar of visits has already been prepared with schoolchildren in the municipality.
The large area used, the recreation of the majorera architecture in the buildings, the rural scenes or the handmade figures themselves, result in the originality of this Bethlehem, the largest in the Canary Islands.
The Department of Celebrations of the City of Puerto del Rosario, directed by David Perdomo, announces that as of Tuesday, December 10, the Giant Bethlehem of Puerto del Rosario, located as usual for many years in the surroundings of Barranco Pylon of the capital majorera, opens its doors to the public. The opening will coincide today with the public and Christmas lighting.
Juan Jiménez, Mayor of Puerto del Rosario, said in this regard that “we are facing a Christmas classic in the capital, a must for families during these holidays, which invite you to shop, go for a walk or leisure.
For his part, the Councillor of the area in the City of Buenos Aires, David Perdomo, highlighted the commitment of his Department to maintain this staging that requires a great technical and human deployment, given the extension of Christmas recreation and the elements that compose it.
One more year, and now twenty-three, this Christmas staging par excellence, takes place in the natural environment of the Pilon Ravine, in the heart of the capital of Majorera. With a global area of more than 10,000m2, the public, on an interactive tour of the interior of the Bethlehem, can enjoy the vision of more than a dozen constructions of different styles, around 40 figures made of resin and adapted to the scale of the new buildings. Different mobile elements such as water mills, canals, streams complete this monumental staging. This attractive framework is completed with the presence and natural plantations with different crops. The light and sound of Christmas are also present during the ample time in which the Bethlehem can be visited, between 9 in the morning and 10 at night, with extended hours on the weekend.
