Three people injured after a vehicle overturns in Puerto del Rosario
This afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that three people needed medical assistance on the FV-20 road, in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, after the vehicle in which they were traveling overturned in a ravine area.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. Upon their arrival, the occupants had already been able to get out of the vehicle by their own means.
The victims, three women aged 45, 36 and 13 who had moderate to mild polycontusions at the time of care, were transferred by basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
For this action, the presence of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) with a basic life support ambulance, a doctor and nurse from the health center, the Puerto de Rosario Fire Brigade as well as the Civil Guard that regulated traffic on the road and made the corresponding attestation was required.
