The Fuerteventura seismic station picks up a 3.7 magnitude Earthquake northwest of El Cotillo.
The movement was also felt in the seismograph on the sister island of Lanzarote
Although everything indicates, due to the distance, that the seismic movement has not been felt by the population, the citizens, especially in Lanzarote, are asked if they have felt it.
The seismic movement occurred at 10.43 in the morning and reached 3.7 degrees of the scale, being significant in relation to previous movements, it has been collected by the seismic station of Fuerteventura.
The 3.7 Earthquake had its epicenter at a point northwest of El Cotillo and at a depth of 21 kilometers.
