I remember to hear the planes a bit earlier on Friday mornings (and/or Sundays?) a couple of months ago to allow earlier flights from Gran Canaria. I usually use them instead of alarm so it sort of extended our days.

Our villa is almost under the landing flight path and as 90% of the time planes land from over Caleta we get the majority of planes coming in.  The Inter Island puddle hoppers are always the first to come in every morning and I can't recall ever getting that alarm call before 7.20am.

Are the planes an issue ?  Huh Huh  Not really

If all planes landed from the south over Caleta that is 666 per week and the airport lets say is open for landings 15hrs a day that is 105hrs per week 6300minutes therefore that would be a plane landing ever 9.5minutes Dodgy Dodgy somewhat quieter than Heathrow  Smile Smile
