Woman seriously injured after vehicle rollover in Antigua.
A woman was seriously injured last night in a traffic accident on FV-416, at kilometer 2, municipality of Antigua.
This is a young woman of 32 years of age who, at the initial moment of assistance, presents a serious hip trauma, transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura Virgen de la Peña.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing of the overturning of a tourism with an injured person inside. 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The staff of the SUC carried out the assistance of the affected as well as her transfer to the hospital. Emergency Firefighters Fuerteventura were responsible for securing the vehicle and cleaning the road. The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings. The Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
