Maritime Rescue manages to recover the body of one of the crew of the Poppy sailboat.
Maritime Rescue has communicated through its social networks that they have managed to "recover the crew body of the Poppy sailboat. The other occupant asked for help yesterday after his partner suffered an accident and was hooked in the sail 12 miles W of Fuerteventura. Helimer 201 managed to get this crew member out, but not the deceased because of bad Weather."
Likewise, he also reported that "the Salvamar Nunki, Guardamar Polimnia, who managed to tow it this afternoon, were mobilized. The ship Miguel de Cervantes transferred to GEA that recovered the body. The ship took the deceased and the sailboat to Las Palmas."
