I had to go to The Medical Centre in Antigua this morning, and I must say I was surprised by how many people were out and about, I am not suggesting hundreds, but I passe around 20 between home and the market and again the same number between there and the Costa Antigua roundabout. similarly, I did not see a single
Police car all morning.
I am aware this a Fuerteventura forum but I thought this video I saw earlier today was interesting and why Spain MAY have got it wrong.

You're really not alone there, but the onus has to be on the authorities rather than the individual to inform, facilitate, and enforce.
Individuals have a specific responsibility to inform. I am in full accord with everything else that you say.
Our return to the UK by ferry to mainland Spain road up the west side of Spain from Huelva to Santander and then ferry to Portsmouth has been postponed due to the movement restrictions, we are just watching this space.
So far Brittany Ferries and one of the three Paradores we were booked into have formally cancelled our reservations, waiting to hear from Armas / FRS Ferries and the other 2 Paradores

Thankfully, some of the airlines are making the decision for our inept government.
Ryanair, of course, continue to jeopardise the well being of residents, passengers and crew alike.

Announced within the last hours a restriction on flights from the Peninsula. 1 per day from Madrid, now.
Must have a valid reason to travel, such as habitual residence or work. A record will be kept of travellers and reasons provided.
I guess it goes some of the way to address the concerns raised about the virus being imported from Madrid.
