Money. Who cycles down that way at night? Not many use the cyclepath in the day.
It works out at around 2,200€ per lamp!
The existing cyclepath between Caleta and the Atlantico centre needs repairing first.

Money replacing old lights in other areas with solar lights.
Extending lighting like this is also giving more light pollution

Money, far better spending the
Money on the existing network of lights and also repair the surface.
I agree they look amazing but are they any use, who walks or cycles from Caleta to Las Salinas del Carmen at night, they would have been better repairing cycle paths so that they get used rather than cyclist using pavements to avoid pot holes.
